Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of على بالي (Ala Baly) ("the Service"), a WhatsApp-based reminder assistant and its companion mobile application. By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

The Service converts text and voice messages you send over WhatsApp into scheduled reminders, and delivers those reminders back to you via WhatsApp and mobile push notifications. Some features require the companion mobile app and a registered account.

2. Accounts

You register by verifying your phone number with a one-time code sent over WhatsApp. You are responsible for maintaining access to your phone number and for all activity on your account. You must be legally permitted to use WhatsApp in your country to use the Service.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Use the Service to send spam or harass others.

4. Reminders are best-effort

We work hard to deliver every reminder on time, but delivery depends on third-party systems outside our control (WhatsApp, mobile networks, push-notification services). The Service must not be relied upon for critical, medical, safety-related, or time-critical obligations. We are not liable for losses caused by missed, delayed, or incorrectly interpreted reminders.

5. AI processing

The Service uses artificial intelligence to transcribe voice messages and interpret reminder requests. AI output can contain errors. Each confirmation message shows what was understood — please review it and correct anything that was misunderstood.

6. Plans and billing

The Service has a free plan with usage limits and a paid Premium subscription that lifts them, sold as a monthly or yearly plan through the App Store and Google Play at the price shown in the app before you subscribe. Your store account is charged on confirmation, and the subscription renews automatically until you cancel it on the store's subscriptions page. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. Billing, cancellation, and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own terms, not by us. We may change the free plan's limits or Premium's price with reasonable notice.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. If your account has an active App Store or Google Play subscription, you must cancel it with the store before the account can be deleted — deleting the account does not cancel a store subscription, and we cannot cancel one on your behalf; see our Data Deletion page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or abuse the Service, and we may discontinue the Service with reasonable notice.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, its name, and its branding are our property. Your reminders and message content remain yours; you grant us the limited license needed to process and store them in order to operate the Service.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
